Operating System:

Windows XP or later

RAM:

Windows XP: 1.5GB RAM
Windows Vista and Windows 7: 2GB RAM
Note: PCs using a built-in graphical chipset are recommended to have 2GB of RAM.

Video Card: Star Wars: The Old Republic requires a video card that has a minimum of 256MB of on-board RAM as well as support for Shader 3.0 or better. Examples include:

Full details about SWTOR release date

BioWare has revealed the release date, and the pricing plan, for its highly anticipated MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. The game will launch in North America on Tuesday, 20th December 2011.

Eurogamer reports that SWTOR’s subscription fees will differ depending on how many months of access you purchase. One month’s subscription will cost $14.99, three months will cost $41.97 (or $13.99 per month), while six months will cost $77.94 (or $12.99 per month).

Each SWTOR Credits may buy from Epictoon.com and for all the copy of Star Wars: The Old Republic comes bundled with 30 days of included subscription time.

“World of Warcraft only launched in North America in 2004 and it was six months later in Europe. Korean games launch slowly. We’re taking a - it’s a big launch. It’s probably one of the biggest online launches simultaneously in the world… It’s daunting. It’s exciting.”

Zeschuk also said the game’s thorough beta testing process should ensure a smooth launch.

“We’re planning and testing, and the key thing for us is that we’ll verify we can do it [the launch] before we do it, so fans don’t have to worry that we’re going to flip the switch for the first time. Part of our testing process is to flip the switch multiple times with similar scaling, and prove it. And then do it.”

3 Month Subscription: $13.99 per month (one-time charge of $41.97/£25.17/€35.97)
6 Month Subscription: $12.99 per month (one-time charge of $77.94/£46.14/€65.94)
